Howl's Moving Castle is the next Hayao Miyazaki film to be released in the United States by Disney. This one is kind of unique in that it's not an original story, but rather, one that is based on a book by a British author (that I have not heard of). The film is in limited release right now, but apparently it's going to be expanded this Friday - right in time to be crushed by the new Batman film (which, ironically, also stars Christian Bale). As a fan of the director's previous films; I will be looking out for this one. Anyone else planning to see it?

Eh, not so much a fan of anime. The batman movie doesn't look too promising to me either, but it looks better than the last 2 that came out.

I'd say that even if you don't like anime; you'd possibly like Miyazaki films.
The Batman movie is great, however.

I liked a few animes I've seen. There was one he did I liked but I forgot the name. Bat Man was awesome though, I liked it and look forward to the next one.

I've liked the Miyazaki films I've seen so far (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away) so hopefully this will deliver. Although, no animovie is complete without the Forest Spirits in Princess Mononoke.

Hmmmm, doesn't look bad. I may have to check this one out. However, no movie shall ever hold higher regard in my mind than Blazing Saddles.
